Our restorative and cosmetic dental services include:

Tooth Coloured Fillings

Also called Composite Fillings, are used to repair small or medium holes in teeth that have been caused by tooth decay or trauma. This type of filling is widely used due to its aesthetic benefit, it exactly matches the colour of your existing teeth. Tooth Coloured Fillings are best suited for restoring front teeth and small fillings in the back teeth.

Porcelain Crowns

Known as “caps,” preserves the functionality of damaged teeth. A dental crown may be used to protect a cracked tooth, restore functionality of a tooth with excessive decay or replace an existing crown. We use porcelain crowns for our patients because it closely replicates the shade of the natural tooth enamel while providing desirable strength.

Porcelain Veneers

Are composed of thin ceramic layers that essentially replace tooth enamel. Similar to a contact lens for the eye, a veneer adheres to the outer surface of a tooth. Natural tooth structure must first be reduced by a minimal amount, approximately 1 mm or less of tooth enamel. This will allow room for the veneer to work its magic and restore natural tooth form, enhancing brilliance and exceptional beauty. Porcelain veneers are an excellent solution for many aesthetic imperfections such as poor colour, shape or contours, fractured teeth, tooth position, as well as some minor bite related problems. They are also an excellent option for managing superficial stains in teeth not amenable to bleaching.

Bridges

It literally bridges the gap created by one or more missing teeth. It is made up of two or more crowns for the teeth on either side of the gap. Dental bridges can restore your smile; restore the ability to properly chew and speak; maintain the shape of your face and prevent remaining teeth from drifting out of position.

Inlays/Onlays

Also known as Indirect Fillings. It is often used in place of traditional composite or amalgam fillings to treat tooth decay or structural damage. Whereas composite fillings are moulded into place in the mouth, inlays and onlays are fabricated in a dental lab before being fitted and bonded to a damaged tooth. This restorative treatment offers superior fit and easy cleaning. It is also aesthetically pleasing and durable.

Teeth Whitening

There are many factors that can cause teeth discoloration. Some of them are due to tobacco use; consumption of dark coloured drinks such as coffee, tea, soda or red wine and in-take of certain medications. Teeth whitening is the most popular cosmetic dental procedure that can lighten your teeth and remove stains or discoloration. Whitening can be done in-office or at home. It is always best to ask your dentist if it is suited for you.

Root Canal Treatment

This procedure is done when the root of the tooth is infected or inflamed. To save the tooth, you may need one or more visits to complete the procedure. The dentist will remove the infected pulp, clean the root canals and shape it to a form that can be completely sealed by a filling to prevent infection. Subsequently, a crown is placed on the tooth to fully restore it and prevent fracture.
